4 steps for setting up petty cash

The process of setting up petty cash has 4 main steps as follows:

Step 1: Adding Payment Channel or Adding Chart of Accounts

1.1 Go to menu Finance > Cash > + Add channel

1.2 Click + Add Financial Channel

1.3 Select “Cash”, enter the amount brought forward and click “Generate”.

Step 2 Set up petty cash

2.1 Go to menu Finance > Petty cash out banks > Transfer money.

2.2 Choose to give money to the created petty cash account > complete the information > transfer.

Step 3 Paying with petty cash

3.1 Select a payee by specifying the payee

3.2 Choose what to pay for In this section, multiple expenses can be added to the same record or separately.

3.3 Choose what to pay with When the information is complete, click “Approve item”

Step 4 Replenishment of petty cash or petty cash refunds

4.1 Petty cash replenishment

Go to the Finance menu > Petty Cash Disbursing Bank > Transfer Funds.

Complete the information and press transfer.

4.2 Petty Cash Returns

Go to the menu Finance > Cash > Select the cash you want to deposit > Transfer money.

Select the bank or channel you want to return cash > Transfer money
