What is silo working?!!
What is silo working?!!
Silo is a modular operation. It is a job where different people focus on their own work. Not interested in other people's work As opposed to teamwork, it leads to various problems in the organization and also results in the development of the organization.
The silo state in the organization can be observed from the following events.
- Teams that focus only on their own work content or only on the team with no interest in other teams
The result is that the team will lack the skills to see the big picture in the organization. when a problem arises would think it was the company's problem, not his own resulting in a lack of enthusiasm for cooperation in solving various problems
- There is no space to exchange information.
As a result, the team will have only one working perspective. lack of new ideas
- Began to divide the group or there are people who seem to be alienated not part of the team
As a result, there may be conflicts between the teams. There is competition within the company.
- There is redundant work
The result is a loss of efficiency and effectiveness in work.
