NDID technology that everyone should know

NDID (National Digital ID) is an online user account. that can conduct various online transactions such as opening a deposit account via online channels under the Regulatory Sandbox of the Bank of Thailand In order to create standards and upgrade transactions to be more reliable

NDID Platform is Thailand's central platform. which is the infrastructure of digital identity verification To connect various agencies, both the public and private sectors together. To support the electronic transaction process of natural persons and juristic persons

🔹NDID Platform has 3 types of membership:

- RP (Relying Party) is an agency that directly provides services to both Face to Face and Non-Face to Face customers that require authentication. to reduce service costs

- IdP (Identity Provider) is an agency that is responsible for verifying and verifying the identity of the service user. in accordance with the regulations of the Bank of Thailand and the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA).

- AS (Authoritative Source) is an agency that has credible personal information of users such as banks, National Credit Bureau (NDB) and government agencies.

🔹 How to join NDID

- have a bank account that is not an online account of banks participating in NDID

- Used to insert the ID card at the branch of the bank that wants to use the service

- Have taken a photo to verify your identity at a bank branch that requires the service

- Have a banking application that you want to use the service

- Must register NDID with the bank that wants to use the service.

🔹Banks that can register for NDID are as follows:

- Siam Commercial Bank (SCB)

- Bangkok Bank (BBL)

- Krung Thai Bank (KTB)

- Bank of Ayudhya (BAY)

- Kasikorn Bank (KBANK)
